Public notice of CCNE accreditation visit and invitation for third party comments

The Spring Arbor University School of Nursing, Health, and Sciences will host an accreditation visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from March 11 to 13, 2026. This visit aims to seek CCNE ongoing accreditation for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and Post-graduate Certificate programs.

As part of the accreditation process, CCNE invites constituents and stakeholders to submit third-party comments related to the program's qualifications for accreditation. Stakeholders may include, but are not limited to, faculty, students enrolled in the programs, alumni, and other interested parties.

In accordance with CCNE requirements, all third-party comments must be:

  • Written in English
  • Submitted to CCNE by February 18, 2026, which is 21 days before the scheduled visit.

thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org.

Spring Arbor University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org), an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

*The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, post-master certificates, and doctor of nursing practice programs at Spring Arbor University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

Spring Arbor University is approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission to conduct practice experiences in the state of Washington for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care (PNP-PC) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) programs.
