Bio:
Michelle began her nursing career in 2001 graduating from Lansing Community College with an associate’s degree in applied science as a registered nurse. In 2009 became a Nurse Practitioner receiving her Master’s degree from Grand Valley State University. Began working with Palliative Care and Hospice where she is still in clinical practice. Michelle is among a small group of Nurse Practitioners with an advanced certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. Michelle’s love for teaching and learning encouraged her to become an Adjunct Faculty in 2016. came to Spring Arbor University in 2016 as an adjunct faculty in the nursing department working with Nurse Practitioner students. Then in 2017 she took the Director of Nurse Practitioner programs. In 2022 she graduated from Spring Arbor Universities first doctoral program with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Strategic Leadership.
