Online DNP Program Overview

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Strategic Leadership is the highest credential a nurse can achieve. Spring Arbor University’s online degree program lets you complete your educational journey while maintaining your full-time work schedule. Our DNP online program offers options for nurses who hold an MSN, with or without an APRN certification, preparing you to assume a leadership role founded on integrity and faith.

APRN Track

The program includes both clinical/practicum work and coursework.

AACN requires a minimum of 1000 post-baccalaureate practicum hours. APRNs may apply up to 500 hours of previously completed practicum work to the DNP’s graduation requirements.

The remaining 500 hours are incorporated within coursework. Each student will earn 300 hours while completing the DNP project and the additional 200 practice hours are earned through various projects and assignments.

Non-APRN Track

The program includes both clinical/practicum work and coursework.

AACN requires a minimum of 1000 post-baccalaureate practicum hours. Non- APRN students will earn 500 of these hours while completing three practicum courses (one credit hour each).
